Oracle 10g Course Content

Overview :

Oracle 10g is a version of the Oracle Database. The g stands for “grid” to indicate that 10g is “grid-computing ready”. It reduces the costs and increasing up time by making the database easier to manage Applications. One way of doing this is to automate tasks that previously had to be done manually by the DBA. A new Automated Storage Management (ASM) sub system is developed to achieve this for Oracle 10g. This feature removes the need to have a file system or a volume manager for managing the database files and eliminates the complexity of balancing data across the disks and controllers manually.

Training Objectives of Oracle 10g :

Oracle 10g Aspirants can easily learn concepts of create, retrieve, and manipulate objects in Oracle 10g Structured Query Language (SQL). We will also be introducing Oracle 10g database features and tools to the students. Students also develop deeper insight into relational Database Architecture Design and RDBMS Operations and learn the concepts and specific SQL syntax for extended Oracle Data types. Analysis and Tuning techniques to increase SQL performance and master advanced features of Oracle® SQL for large data sets and data warehouses.
